Being a Major Gifts Manager organizes special events and prepares proposals to obtain funds. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Major Gifts Manager typically reports to a senior manager. The Major Gifts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.
