ABELCINE Integration Technician Salary in the United States

AbelCine is a leading digital cinema and HD technology supplier to the motion picture, broadcast and new media industries. We offer sales, training, rental, repair and finance services to the professional production community with offices in NY, CHI and LA. Our west coast facility, in Burbank, is seeking a full time Integration Technician to join our staff. As a key member of the Integration team the tech will perform a variety of systems, equipment and lighting installations, monitor calibration, cable termination, commissioning, and maintenance of audio visual, broadcast, and postproduction systems. The Integration Technician will also participate in some pre-sales activities such as research and specification of some AV equipment and some post sales activities such as workflow diagrams and some documentation. This position will encompass the following key responsibilities: 

• Providing professional configuration, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and general customer support for a variety of products carried by AbelCine in video production and postproduction industry
• Providing professional installations with the following:
• Professional cinema lighting
• Styleshoots Product Photography Equipment
• Cameo Precision Focus System
• Software and hardware package on mac or windows 
• Fabricating racks, flypacks and other systems according to signal flow diagrams 
• Providing monitor calibration services
• Terminating audio, video, and data cables with precision
• Providing informative demonstrations on the various features of our products and technologies and to provide technical support and training 
• Keeping up-to-date on Broadcast and AV technologies by investigating new systems, techniques, and equipment
• Traveling to client sites on short notice

Desired Education and Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience
• 2+ years of experience with audio/video equipment installations, generating proposals and quotes
• 1+ years of experience with design software such as Vectorworks, Wirecad, Autocad or Sketchup
• Strong computer skills and comprehension of computer networking and IP workflows; basic IT networking skills
• Extron or Crestron certification is a plus
• Experience with plotting lighting grids and performing monitor calibrations 
• Knowledge and experience with studio lighting
• Solid experience with wire termination including soldering, crimping, punch-down etc.
• Strong analytic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, as they pertain to A/V & associated systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be neat, organized and be able to hit set deadlines
• Clean driver license and comfortable driving a van
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and comfortable climbing and performing work on a ladder
• Ability to travel on short notice. Travel 40%
• OSHA Certification is a plus 

This is a full time, non-exempt, salaried position.
