Summary
The Social Media Supervisor plays a key role within the agency’s Social Media team serving as the point person providing day to day social media guidance and implementing program elements.
This individual is a thought leader in the organization and has a sound understanding of current and emerging social media best practices and trends that impact client work. Experience applying social media strategy to pharma is preferred.
Functions and Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional agency teams and client stakeholders to develop and execute appropriate social media programs across multiple clients.
Lead the day-to-day management of brand’s social media strategy implementation including paid media campaign management and execution, content development and editorial calendar management across social media platforms.
Manage day-to-day community moderation and engagement across social media platforms for brands.
Partner with Marketing Intelligence to generate campaign findings and recommendations to enable continuous, measurable improvement in client’s social media efforts.
keeps a pulse on the changing social media landscape and shares key updates internally and externally
Help lead ongoing internal education on agency’s social media philosophies, trends and insights to organically grow Agency capabilities
Qualifications:
6-8 years’ experience developing and executing social media programs (healthcare and pharma experience a plus) with a thorough understanding of core platforms
1-2 years of community management experience required
Strong communication, presentation, project management and planning skills
Enthusiasm for staying on top of latest social media trends and emerging platforms (e.g. TikTok)
Experience conducting analysis via social media listening tools (e.g., NetBase)
Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn and effectively use new technology
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
