Abrigo is seeking a Contract Specialist for our growing software business. We're looking for someone who can work collaboratively in a collegial team environment to connect the contract dots between the Sales & Finance teams. The Contract Specialist will assist the Manager of Contract Administration with drafting and reviewing standard business contracts such as NDAs, Master Sales Agreements, Amendments, Consulting Agreements. This position will report to the Manager of Contract Administration and will have significant interaction with internal and external facing business partners, including a geographically distributed sales team.  Looking for a motivated individual who can assist our growing company with the formal development of systems and processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as liaison between Sales, Implementation, Accounting and other functions with respect to contract terms and conditions
  • Complete administrative tasks to support the legal and sales team
  • Assist in the drafting, maintaining, updating of all contract templates in Salesforce 
  • Work closely with sales team to provide guidance and assistance
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records
  • Create language standards for existing and new contracts
  • Conducts contract audits
  • Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts
  • Improve upon existing systems, processes and procedures to streamline and optimize – assist in building out the formal contract management function
  • Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal
  • Assisting Manager of Contracts with tasks as requested
  • Participate in other projects as requested

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field and 2-3+ years of progressive work experience with increased responsibility, preferably within a technology company; additional qualifications in law are a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Independent person who is able to spot red flags and deal with them professionally & efficiently
  • Self-starter who does not need or expect a lot of infrastructure and is able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service (internal and external) and interpersonal skills to facilitate successful interaction with management, staff and third parties
  • High level of motivation and desire to learn & teach
  • Flexible, collaborative and willing to work on a broad variety of matters with a team-player attitude
  • Team oriented and enjoys working closely with other employees to achieve results
  • Exceptional time management skills; prioritization in managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce required
