Abrigo is actively seeking a Director, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging. The primary focus of this position is to support the CEO in the oversight and management of the organization's diversity, equity and inclusion program and support other strategic companywide projects.


Responsibilities – What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, under direction of the CEO.
  • Set the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy for the organization, including measurement of success of strategic initiatives, and actively communicating progress to executive team and all employees.
  • Establish and oversee DEI Council at Abrigo to drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy
  • Coach employees and leaders to recognize, accommodate, and appreciate individual differences aligned with Abrigo’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy.
  • Partner with hiring managers, employees, internal and external communities, and customers to develop and implement policies and programs that attract, retain, and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Advise the People leadership team in resolving, investigating, and processing employee relations issues, complaints, and problems with respect to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Create and drive strategic external partnerships to ensure a diverse pipeline of talent. Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure robust talent engagement with underrepresented groups.
  • Support and guide Abrigo’s employee resource groups to build membership and advance employee engagement and ensure that employee resource group goals align to and enhance the overall diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.
  • Collaborate with L&D: Assess, develop, deliver or ensure delivery of appropriate, learning solutions (e-learning, workshops, conversations, learning opportunities, etc.) to support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Identify and act as key liaison with external diversity organizations and events, including determining event sponsorships, benchmark participation and other partnerships.
  • Builds strong cross-functional relationships with internal departments and consultants, as needed, to implement business strategies.
  • Interacts closely with business leaders to carry out key projects and works directly with other senior leaders to drive successful completion of tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor external diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging best practices, learn, and integrate new initiatives into the strategy to maintain a best-in-class program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by CEO.

 
Requirements – What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of recent experience managing DEI programs or experience in change management
  • Strong acumen of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging concepts with proven and demonstrated track record of leading diversity and inclusion-related initiatives and programs
  • Experience managing and leading teams and solid project management skills, having managed and successfully delivered multiple, complex projects on-time and on-budget
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated success in a high pressure, dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Deadline focused, organized and able to prioritize multiple projects
  • Expert presentation and training facilitation skills, both in-person and virtual
  • Executive presence, relationship building, strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Certification in diversity programming is a plus
  • Open to travel
