We are seeking an experienced Incident Manager to oversee and execute Abrigo’s incident management, root cause analysis, and technical change management processes.  The ideal candidate is an innovative, out-of-the-box thinker who is looking to be challenged and make an impact in a high growth environment.  This position requires having the technical aptitude to work effectively with IT Infrastructure, DevOps, Technical Support, and Engineering teams. This position will report to the VP, Operational Excellence, and be based in Austin, TX or Raleigh, NC.

What You'll Do: 

  • Manage and execute the full life cycle of incident management, root cause analysis, and technical change management processes.
  • Perform a gap analysis of current processes to see where improvements are needed.
  • Lead high-severity incident calls with business and technical teams, ensuring SLAs are met and actions are put in place to avoid issues in the future.
  • Take ownership, set expectations, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Ensure teams have necessary release plans, testing coverage, and communication plans for any IT Infrastructure production-level changes.
  • Analyze and select appropriate tools for alerting and incident management.
  • Work under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Make continuous improvements and recommendations for new and creative ideas.

What You'll Need: 

  • 4+ years’ experience working in Incident and Problem Management.
  • Experience working in software development with SaaS and hosted applications.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to interact with and persuade Senior Leadership.
  • Ability to work until an issue is resolved, even if it is after work hours.
  • A proven ability in process improvement and building new processes from the ground up.
  • Strong results-oriented mindset with a "get it done" mentality.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, a critical mind, and well-honed written and verbal communications.
  • The ability to quickly and successfully adapt to a high growth environment and culture.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Solar Winds Service Desk / Samanage, JIRA, Confluence a plus
  • ITIL certification a plus
