Roles & Responsibilties:

We are looking to hire a Director of Corporate Accounting , to join our growing team at JUUL Labs, reporting to the Corporate Controller. This role will be responsible for both leading the global accounting function and continually improving the procedures, processes and systems to enable JUUL to meet operational, reporting and audit requirements as the company grows. This position reports to the Corporate Controller with high visibility to the CFO.

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close;
• Oversee consolidation and worldwide compliance, including managing 3rdparty accounting service providers
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly account reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner;
• Lead GL team in monthly balance sheet and P&L reviews that provide insight into key business drivers that are impacting financial results;
• Respond to inquiries from finance and companywide managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests;
• Ensure quarterly SOX compliance activities are performed timely;
• Work closely with internal and external audit functions to ensure compliance and plan for new accounting guidance;

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in a fast paced environment with at least 5 years at a Big 4 public accounting firm.
• Consumer products/e-commerce industry experience is a plus.
• IPO experience preferred including experience drafting S-1 and quarterly SEC filings. 
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting, excellent technical accounting skills a must.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent writing skills with demonstrated expertise drafting technical accounting memos.
