ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides technical quality support for supply chain quality engineering staff. Utilizes data sources to develop and monitor metrics. Completes quality records using GMP guidelines and Juul policies / procedures.  

• Performs lot history record reviews and drives to eliminate issues observed.
• Analysis and interpretation of data including process capability, Gage R&R, SPC, etc.
• Coordinates & participate in product nonconformance investigations (i.e. CAPA, SCAR, MRB, NC). 
• Participates in complaint investigation activities.
• Develops and provides quality reporting metrics for the supply chain quality engineering department (i.e. trending of data, metrics, etc.)
• Facilitates working meetings and provides documented outputs/actions.
• Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills to facilitate an effective working relationship with suppliers and coworkers. 
• Recommends changes to quality documentation.
• Completes all other work-related duties as assigned.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge of medical device regulations (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820) or other regulated manufacturing industries (i.e. AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Intermediate level understanding of nonconformance systems, including CAPA, SCAR, MRB, NC.
• Minitab or equivalent statistical analysis software experience.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Problem analysis/solving.
• Managing internal and external relationships.
• Ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production.
• Organization: managing multiple requirements and deadlines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in quality assurance.
• Working toward Bachelor of Science degree in engineering a plus. 
• Quality training/certifications a plus.
• Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
