Aircraft Logs & Records Specialist

Meridian, MS

As the Aircraft Logs & Records Specialist for Rolls-Royce, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating aircraft engine, module and accessory log cards and records.

Key Accountabilities:

• Management of engine logs and records to ensure necessary inspections,
• Component life tracking and configuration management of engines and components are maintained according to customer established requirements in the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790, Adour F405-RR-401 configuration management plan
• The logs and record specialist screens incoming records for accuracy, required inspections and maintenance; will consolidate and re-create records as necessary,
• Provide input to the AEMS (Aircraft Engine Management System) through ETRs (Engine Transaction Reports) and perform closeout of log books upon completion of maintenance transactions.
• Responsible for data entry into NALCOMIS or equivalent system and ETS (Engine Tracking System).
• Data reporting as may be required for effective production or scheduling; technical directive scheduling, tracking and materials ordering; other administrative duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in administering aircraft/engine related logs and records
• Familiarity with the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2, NAVAIRINST 13700.15
• Must have a strong working knowledge of NALCOMIS
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products

Preferred Requirements:

• Working knowledge of SAP
