Position Overview
Your role as an Account Manager, New Account Acquisitions is to learn Zones’ solutions and fluently speak to their value proposition in order to effectively represent Zones, our capabilities and yourself to our prospective clients to ensure that they view Zones as a single source for all their IT needs. This role is the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and expertise with the end game of becoming an Account Manager in our Mid-Market sales segment!

The Account Manager, New Account Acquisitions is primarily responsible for:
- Conducting cold calls and warm calls
- Hunting and prospecting for new clients to acquire and develop
- Reaching out to MQLs (marketing qualified leads) to convert them into opportunities to acquire clients
- Conducting targeted research into account lists to find contacts
- Leveraging tools to reach out to potential customers through calls, emails, LinkedIn and other resources
- Managing and documenting daily tasks in CRM
- Developing Mid-market acquisition and account management skills under the direction of a Training and Development manager
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:Education, Certifications, & Technology Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional experience:
- Minimum:1 year (1 – 2 companies/positions)
- Not to exceed: 3 years
- Note: Will consider recent college graduate with some corporate experience combined with required competencies
- Sales experience:
- Lead qualification/prospecting
- One year of B2B experience
- Handling high volume calls
- Quota driven sales
- Technology Requirements:
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft suite applications
- Previous experience with a CRM and/or HubSpot encouraged

- Passion for technology with a high technology quotient – keen ability to absorb technology concepts and translate them to Zones solutions to meet clients’ expected business outcomes.
