The firm celebrated its seventeen year anniversary on June 2, 2019. In June of 2002, Hal Willson and Jeff Jones founded Willson & Jones, LLC in Greenville, South Carolina. In February 2003, Allison Carter & Johnnie Baxley joined the firm and opened an office in Charleston, South Carolina and the firm's name changed to Willson Jones Carter & Baxley, P.A. In February 2005, Michael Burkett joined the firm and established the firm's Columbia office. The firm expanded into North Carolina in 2008 with the opening of a Charlotte office headed by Kenny Coble. The second North Carolina office opened in Raleigh in August 2010 and is now led by Matt Meany. In January 2013, the firm opened its sixth office in Atlanta, Georgia. Will Naglich manages that office. In May 2018, Lee Gremillion joined the firm and established the seventh office location in Myrtle Beach, SC.
