What does a Sales Operations - Specialist Latin America and Strategic Accounts do at companies like A10 NETWORKS INC?

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for a set of functional activities that support the Latin American and Strategic Accounts sales teams. This specialist will work cross functionally with multiple departments and also interface with sales management and regional sales directors by assisting with systems and tools to meet goals.

The Sales Operations Specialist will be assigned to support Latin America and Strategic Accounts.

Opportunity:

  • Monitor, validate and identify opportunities to improve business processes that impact opportunity and account data quality
  • Proactively manage Proof of Concept and/or fixed asset programs to ensure equipment is converted to purchase or returned to headquarters in a timely matter
  • A key contact for the Latin America and Strategic Accounts Deals Desk. Responsible for reviewing and approving quotations in accordance with the Deals Desk Validation check list. Review quotes for product, support and accessories both from a pricing and configuration perspective for accuracy
  • Proactively bring new process and automation ideas to help scale and improve internal experience and efficiency
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the field on pricing, margins, deal structure and business terms
  • Review, research and response to non-standard sales operations requests, including, but not limited to, requests for unique reports in Salesforce.com, researching installation base questions for end customers, coordinating approvals for non-standard pricing requests, shipment issues, etc.
  • Serve as an internal liaison to coordinate requests from the sales field that may involve internal department review of certain terms and content (e.g. RFP requests for sales team to compile formal responses, etc.) and direct communication with authorized Distributors and Partners from time to time.
  • Assist with training sales new hires with salesforce.com account, opportunity building and quote creation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience in sales, operations or in a hi-tech, fast paced environment providing sales administration and sales coordination
  • Strong customer service skills, including prompt follow-up, managing differences and conflict resolution
  • Effective in building strong relationships with people across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic/proactive thinking and problem solving skills are a must
  • Self-driven, dependable, organized, detail-oriented and the ability to multitask a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in using salesforce.com and Oracle as business tools a definite plus
  • Fluent in Spanish a definite plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
