Under general direction of the Director/Supervisor, performs patient care related tasks and supervision of assigned area programs and staff currently in our therapeutic preschool setting serving children in academic and outpatient therapy services. Coordinates daily operations and administrative tasks of assigned services and works in collaboration with related disciplines. We’re looking for someone who has good leadership skills, understands the challenges and needs of working with multiple team members and someone who loves working with people.
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in PT , OT or other related degree, Masters degree in SLP.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years experience as a therapist or other appropriate rehab professional. Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred. One year of pediatric experience preferred if involved with individuals birth to 13 years.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current state professional license or license eligible, as appropriate to profession. Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. Word processing experience preferred. CPR certification or eligible.
