ABILITY KC PRN Employment Development Specialist (EDS) Salary in the United States

Under the general direction of Branch Manager or Service Manager, enhances the visibility of Ability KC among businesses and develops employment opportunities for persons served. Services provided to persons served in our St. Joseph office and surrounding area.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation, psychology or a related field is required.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in human services, marketing or sales is preferred. Knowledge and /or personal experience with diverse occupations is an asset.

Work Schedule: Flexible hours with weekday schedule and option for others hours as needed.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of local labor market and employer needs. A current driver’s license, insured driver’s status and access to a personal vehicle is required.
