Abrigo is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, has a passion for learning and is able to work within a team. Do you have what it takes to be a part of this high performing team? If so, read on…

What You’ll Do:

• Day-to-day database management activities, including troubleshooting queries, index maintenance, replication monitoring, etc.
• Verify backups and other audit requirements
• Maintain, optimize and refresh lower environments (DEV, QA, etc).
• Design, develop and implement automated processes to improve database administration efficiency.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend database solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Provide feedback to development teams on production issues.
• Develop an architecture for horizontal and vertical scaling of databases.
• Document operations processes.
• Other duties related to your capabilities, assigned on an as-needed basis.
• Supplement on-call rotation and work flexible hours.

What You’ll Need:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery database environments. (i.e. Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot performance and query issues.
• Experience with virtual container applications (Docker).
• Experience with deployment automation tools (Ansible).
• Experience with Windows or Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience with virtualized environments (VMWare).
• Familiarity with industry best-practices.
• Experience in a regulated environment (SSAE16, SOX, FFIEC) preferred
• Previous development experience preferred.
