As a Product Specialist, you’ll have a central role in developing a scalable, customizable solution for the business. You’ll work on delivering new features and functionality for our patients and providers with our platform teams. You’ll work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with engineers and designers to refine requirements and acceptance criteria. You will be responsible for cross-functional communication of project statuses and the on-time completion of milestones and deliverables. 

The Primary Responsibilities: 

• Partner with product leadership and cross-functional teams to align on business priorities 
• Manage the backlog to drive iterative change and delivery on key business objectives, keeping milestones on track 
• Collaborate with product managers on business requirements and user stories by planning, grooming and estimating stories with the engineering team (either internal or third party) 
• Work with QA teams to ensure features are fully tested during user acceptance testing 
• Project manage work streams, keeping deliverables on track, managing communication and coordination of cross-functional teams and with business units 
• Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams, additional product teams, and other cross functional stakeholders 
• Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great user experiences

Position Requirements:

A successful candidate will have: 

• BA/BS
• 3+ years of experience in a software company
• Experience writing user stories and managing sprints
• Excellent cross-functional project management skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage demanding timelines
• Experience working with engineering and design teams, and collaborating with business units
• Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal and leadership skills
• A proactive, positive disposition to creatively problem-solve
• Experience working with remote, geographically distributed teams
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
• Eagerness to learn and grow
• Preferred: experience with agile methodologies and JIRA
