Job Description

 I.  PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• The purpose of this position is to independently manage product development projects across the public and private market asset classes.

II. JOB DUTIES:

Project Management

• Independently manage the developments of the public and private market assets classes through the entire product development process from internal approval through implementation to launch.
• Create connections between all business units allowing for a seamless and efficient product development process.
• Help to prioritize the teams efforts , focusing on delivering what matters in an efficient manner.
• Coordinating with global counterparts, leveraging and sharing knowledge across the business.
• Support, service and develop the US offshore funds business, Canada and Latin America
• Driving Competitor research for existing ASI strategies, as well as, Gap analysis (areas of the market where ASI is lacking strategies)
• Support the development of a scalable operating model for Client Solutions in the Americas

Team Management

• Support senior management requirements in developing and evaluating business strategy
• Coordinate with distribution , marketing and investments to facilitate communication supporting product development initiatives

III. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum five years work experience in financial services
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in EXCEL,WORD,  PowerPoint, Morningstar Direct

IV. CONDITIONS OF WORK: 

• Significant travel required at times.  Likely to be 15% to 20% of time
• Overtime as required by certain projects
