ACCEPT Education Collaborative is a regional non-profit educational organization located in Medway and Natick, MA (all administrative offices are located in Natick, MA). ACCEPT is seeking an experienced payroll coordinator with strong employee service focus and excellent attention to detail.Position Summary: Supports finance and human resources functions across the company through all aspects of payroll preparation, processing, reporting, and maintaining accurate employee payroll records; assists employees with all payroll related questions; responsible for the full administration and management of retirement plans, including state reporting.Qualifications Required: 3 - 5 years performing all payroll functionsStrong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting systemExperience with ADP Payroll system is a mustExperience processing payroll for a school or similar educational institutionExperience with reporting and managing deductions for state retirement funds (OBRA, MTRS, MARIS), as well as other employee benefits (such as TIAA, Aflac, Health insurances, etc)Absolute ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretionQualifications Desired: Bachelor's degreeExperience working at a public school/education collaborativeExperience working at a a non-profit organizationEssential Functions and Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets using a time & attendance system; track and deduct all benefit deductions, garnishments, retirement funds, and other special payroll deductions.Responsible for the coordination between payroll, human resources, finance, and other departments to ensure proper flow of maintenance and employee data.Administration of all payroll-related employee information in the ADP Payroll system, including retirementResponsible for accurately calculating prorated salaries and final paychecksResponsible for overseeing the electronic timesheet system; ensuring adherence to FLSA; monitoring submissions of approved timesheets; ensuring valid data transfers to/from payroll service.Responsible for ensuring that all payroll-related employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization and adherence to the policy including compliance with federal/state/local regulations.Responsible for monitoring accrual, use and carryover balances of paid sick, personal, and vacation time for accuracy.Responsible for reviewing benefit invoices for accuracy with HR and Accounting Departments.Responsible for preparing and filing monthly and quarterly reports with various agencies, such as Department of Labor, as well as other reporting responsibilities as assigned.Responsible for full cycle administration of retirement funds (OBRA, MTRS, MARIS, TIAA), including reporting and auditing to ensure record accuracy.Nonessential Functions: Other duties as assignedSuccess Factors/Job Competencies: Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all timesStrong employee service focusGreat attention to detailAbility to work independently and be a part of the teamCommitment to company mission and valuesTeam playerWhy you want to work here? - Great pay, great benefits, great team!!!Applicants without any ADP experience will not be given consideration.This is not a school calendar position.
