Position Overview

This opportunity has openings on First, Second and Third shift. The Order Fulfillment Specialist/Material Handler performs all duties necessary to fulfill customer orders or replenish orders.  These duties include, but is not limited to receiving, break-down, put-away, labeling, weighing, wrapping, loading and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for stocking, handling, inventory and other assigned tasks.
• Picking orders for daily shipments.
• Inspects orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Delivers shipments to staging area.
• Sorts and places delivered items in assigned locations and keeps stored goods organized in the stocking area.
• Housekeeping assignment as directed by supervisor.
• Responsible for needed paperwork. 

Skills and Experience

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.  Ability to perform these operations with hand-held calculator. 
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to complete required written and oral duties and instructions.
• Ability to handle regular job problems within a defined area of responsibility using basic problem solving skills.
• Requires ability to operate forklift, stock picker, reach truck and pallet jack.
