Aclara is seeking Service Support Representative to provide call center services associated with SGS communications infrastructure and meter deployment services.

 

Purpose:

  • The customer service representative will be responsible for ensuring property surveys, coordinating building posting and installation appointments for multi-dwelling units (MDU’s) in the boroughs in support of the large-scale utility infrastructure upgrade projects.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Gather property details via phone conversations when appropriate per the project deployment schedule to gather property details to facilitate the meter installations.
  • Set appointments for meter installation dates with building supervisors, managers, and end customers based upon project deployment schedule and create appointment in proprietary software system.
  • Work with project management, site managers and dispatchers to schedule appointments, understand routing and results needed from meter installation
  • Based on the deployment schedule, the CSR will converse with property manager to gather all the property details such as building access, building supervisor contact information and all other special consideration to facilitate the meter installation.
  • The CSR will coordinate the paper posting at all properties with the building manager as indicated by the deployment schedule allowing a one-week lead time prior to the installation date. The CSR will ensure the postings will cover all property visual areas, including by not limited to all entries, lobby and elevator banks.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Required:

  • 3 years of previous customer service experience
  • Previous call center experience
  • Knowledge of NICE Software System
  • Demonstrated verbal communication skills and customer service ability, via phone.
  • Knowledge of the New York City boroughs
  • General use of computers/tablets for data entry, tracking and reporting.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with utility programs.
  • Experience with field-based work in local area.
