Aclara is seeking a full-time Warehouse Assistant to support the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of our inventory. This individual will be accountable for the safety, security, efficiency, and accuracy of our warehouse operations in Fredericksburg, VA.

Training and initial operations will take place in Richmond, VA until June 2021. 

Responsibilities:

• Support the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of inventory
• Maintain accurate counts when dispatching and receiving inventory from field staff
• Accountable for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock
• Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor regarding logistics and inventory

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in meter installations or meter reading is a plus, but not required.
• 2-3 years of previous experience working in a warehouse, preferably with fragile/electronic inventory
• Forklift certification required. If not already certified, candidate must be able to obtain certification prior to appointment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Must have a valid Driver's License
