Job Description

The Home Care Manager coordinates clinician schedules and assigns clinicians to patients based on the frequency and expected duration of prescribed treatments and therapies. Manages a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and aides that provide professional services to home care patients. Being a Home Care Manager ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures. Monitors utilization, productivity, and tracks patient outcomes. In addition, Home Care Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require an RN license. Typically reports to a director. The Home Care Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Home Care Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
