To help fuel our continued expansion, we are looking for a Marketing Intelligence and Operations Manager to join our marketing team in a hands-on role ensuring an efficient, data-driven, and process-oriented marketing function. You will oversee the day-to-day management of our marketing tech stack and database, deliver marketing performance reporting and analysis, and work with marketing managers to ensure seamless program execution.
This is an exciting opportunity for a rock star marketing operations and digital technologist to oversee managing all marketing operations with the main focus of enabling efficient lead scoring, campaign tracking, lead management, database health, and our technology stack.
This is a remote opportunity and open to individuals outside of San Diego, CA (Headquarters). Accepting remote applications from the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations:
- Manages marketing initiatives and processes that will support demand generation, lead management and nurturing, sales enablement and effectiveness and data quality.
- Manage day-to-day operations of our entire marketing operations; monitor and report progress of marketing team, programs, communicate tasks to team, and manage team Airtable board.
- Will work closely with internal teams and external agency partner to create and maintain end-to-end documentation of marketing team operations, as it relates to our people, processes, technology, and data.
- Monitors marketing vendors activities to ensure contract obligations are fulfilled according to contract specifications.
Campaign Management:
- Optimize and maintain the processes needed to measure lead qualification, conversion and routing. Using data to spot trends, optimizing existing processes and programs for improved results, and creating reports and analysis to measure.
- Work closely with demand generation, marketing communications, and product marketing to build campaign target list, streamline process to capture leads from marketing sources and/or marketing automation platforms, and ensure qualified leads are handed-off seamlessly from marketing to sales.
Measurement and Reporting:
- Retrieves data from various sources and prepares data for analysis. Reviews that data for accuracy and revises methods of data retrieval when necessary.
- Creates presentations breaking down findings, results, problems identified, potential solutions. May attend management meetings to present those findings and recommendations. Should have a strong background in creating and explaining numbers and graphs and also be skilled at assembling and presenting PowerPoint presentations.
- Pulls weekly key marketing metrics, inputting these measurements into reports and dashboards that measure the performance of the marketing team and demand generation programs.
- Provides executive, senior management, sales, and marketing team with ongoing analysis reports for marketing investments, actively monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the status of demand generation programs, marketing program ROI, customer acquisition and retention.
Infrastructure Management:
- Manage the execution and optimization of marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Clearbit, Wistia, LogMeIn, sales enablement tools, reporting and analytics, chatbot. The role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing these systems, as well as driving new technologies for marketing resource management, campaign enablement, and performance reporting.
- Manage and maintain the connection between Salesforce.com, working with sales operations, and major marketing technology platforms - ensuring high data quality, expedited lead flow, and campaign tracking.
- Creating a long-term architecture for interdepartmental integration and cooperation to power our systems for their future growth.

Skills & Requirements:
- B.A./B.S. degree in Marketing/Business/Technology preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced B2B environment, preferably in SaaS and the Software/IT industry, spearheading marketing operations and process management.
- Strong background managing marketing automation, marketing technology and CRM
- Project management experience
- Marketing management experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to create, analyze and report on operational metrics
- Strong written and verbal communicator, highly articulate, makes arguments in a compelling manner
- Ability to summarize and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience driving projects from start-to-finish, even when faced with deep complexity and ambiguity
- Must have experience working with MarTech stack, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, OptinMonster, Survey Monkey, and GoToWebinar.
