The Position

AbacusNext is seeking a creative, ambitious, smart and fun Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, loves social media, is adept at juggling multiple projects, able to execute and manage social media campaigns that deliver qualified leads for our sales team all while helping coordinate a wide variety of marketing projects including supporting events and tradeshows.

 

You will own the social media program from strategy, planning, and calendaring to posting, reporting, analyzing and optimizing. Create content and posts that wow audiences and compel them to share. Create a plan that grows followers for each of our products and our overall company. Create a new youtube channel that helps us educate via video and expand our brands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the head of communication to strategize, execute, and manage a variety of social media campaigns from conception to creative to execution, analysis and optimization
  • Manage social media presence: Build and execute a social media plan
  • Manage content creation, production, posting, and online conversations across social networking platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Manages day-to-day social media presence and social media calendar including, but not limited to writing editorial/social copy, creating visual content, community outreach, promotions, monitoring and listening both directly and through software tools, and developing responses
  • Own the social media calendar – works with the Marketing Team to align social media programming with product launches, campaign concepts, sales promotions and initiatives with the goal of increasing engagement with our brands and generating leads and driving traffic into our sites
  • Rebuild our YouTube channel and manage it
  • Work with the marketing team on a wide variety of marketing campaigns and projects
  • Provide logistical and coordination support for events and tradeshows
  • Maintain consistent and clear communications between external and internal partners
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with marketing partners.
  • Coordinate billing with accounting to manage marketing budget and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Perform various administrative tasks in support of the Marketing Department.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Qualifications and Background:

  • 2+ years of social media experience
  • Deep understanding of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and deliver on deadlines
  • Ability to perform in (and love) a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • Experience with Facebook Live – Plus
  • Experience with Video Editing - Plus
  • Blueprint certified a huge plus
