JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for Transportation Manager

Implements operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in all transportation activities. Monitors transportation costs, service level agreements, and performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to meet forecasted capacity needs. Manages relations with transportation providers to ensure the achievement of required service levels.
