2019-2020 Annual Salary Budget Survey Surpasses 1,200 Participants

May 9, 2019

More than 1,200 participants from 20 diverse industries share insights into this year’s and next year’s salary budgets.

Waltham, MA (May 9, 2019) – Salary.com, the leading SaaS provider of cloud-based compensation data and analytics, today announces that their annual US and Canada National Salary Budget Survey has garnered more than 1,200 survey responses to date.

One of the three largest salary budget surveys in the compensation space, Salary.com’s annual US and Canada National Salary Budget Survey offers participating organizations the opportunity to learn more about how peer organizations are budgeting for merit increases, market adjustments, pay equity adjustments, and cost-of-living increases. Participation is free, and participants receive a complimentary copy of the top-level overview of budget trends, followed by the complete survey results, which break down increase budget data by company size, industry, geographic location, and more.

In today’s tight talent market, it’s increasingly important for organizations to not only think critically about their own increase budgets, but also to understand how their peers – and their competitors for talent – are budgeting for their annual increase process. In this environment, Salary.com is committed to empowering HR and compensation professionals with salary increase budget benchmarking data to help them make effective macro salary budget recommendations for their own organizations.

“Our annual US and Canada Salary National Budget Survey allows total rewards professionals unparalleled insights into how organizations like theirs are budgeting to keep pace with the market, reward employees for their performance, and address pay equity concerns,” said Chris Fusco, Senior Vice President of Compensation at Salary.com. “To have such broad participation in the ninth year of our survey indicates to us that HR and compensation professionals want to make data-driven decisions about their budgeting processes, rather than just pushing for the same budget year after year.”

The participation period for Salary.com’s 2019 US and Canada National Salary Budget Survey runs until May 17, 2019. Organizations that would like to participate in this year’s salary budget survey may do so now.
